The Lucas Perez to Everton story is rumbling on in Spain and being taken quite seriously. La Voz De Galicia cover the situation on Wednesday afternoon and they say the player’s entourage is well aware of the situation.
Everton would pay Perez’s buyout clause with Deportivo La Coruna, according to the claims, which stands at €20m. The Merseyside club would also provide a ‘juicy’ financial offer for the player himself.
Earlier in the window, Pere’z agent said they wouldn’t force an exit through with a clause payment, so any club had to please Deportivo, go into talks with them, and not force the clause situation.
A ‘juicy’ salary package may well change that situation.
