Two days ago, Sky Deutschland reported Manchester United and Liverpool are in the mix to sign Schalke’s Assan Ouédraogo. His father also revealed there are “written offers” from the Premier League, without providing any details about the clubs.
Bild state Manchester United and Liverpool are the English clubs who have shown interest in the 18-year-old.
The Premier League duo are mentioned in a report which focuses on the fee Schalke would receive, if the midfielder were to be sold in the summer window.
Bild say the fee is €10m for German clubs that will play in the Champions League, and €8m for those who will play in the Europa League. RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested, and the latter are said to have made an offer.
It’s claimed several Premier League sides have made contact, but it’s Manchester United and Liverpool who have ‘made specific enquires’ about the youngster.
The report says his price would be €10m for English clubs, and there’s no mention if the Red Devils or the Reds are willing to pay this to sign him.
