Marcus Rashford’s rise is nothing short of phenomenal. In modern football, superlatives are thrown around for the most routine things, but Rashford just can’t stop scoring goals.
The Manchester United youngster is becoming more known worldwide and Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo use it on Thursday to poke Jose Mourinho with a stick.
Detailing his rather nice knack of scoring goals on his debut, the newspaper have a suggestion for Mourinho.
Ahead of the Manchester derby, Mundo Deportivo, who aren’t the biggest fans of the Manchester United manager, say Mourinho ‘has in his hands the possibility of making a huge star of Rashford’.
They point out the manager hasn’t got a great record with youth, and explain that Mourinho can back up his claims of feeling Rashford “has everything” by starting him against Manchester City.
Of course, Rashford already has derby glory behind him, all part of Mundo Deportivo saying the footballer has been ‘making history’ over the past year.
