Fanatik report Southampton player Mohamed Elyounoussi wants to join Besiktas despite interest from the likes of Sevilla and Celta Vigo.
We covered initial claims from Turkey that Besiktas are in the market for a winger and are keen to loan the Southampton player.
According to Turkish newspaper, the 24 year old wants to continue his career in Turkey and is happy with the interest from Besiktas.
Despite the other interest, it’s claimed the former Basel player wants to join the Super Lig side as he feels he can easily adapt to life in Turkey.
Southampton are looking to get at least €1.5m as a loan fee for a player they signed just over a year ago for €18m, and Fanatik say talks between the two clubs are set to continue in the coming days.
The player looks surplus to requirements with the Saints and may need to move before the European transfer deadline in order to get regular games elsewhere.
Elyounoussi is under contract at Southampton until June 2023.
