On September 30th, we covered claims from Spain that Pablo Sarabia is unhappy with his situation at Wolverhampton Wanderers. It was also reported Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta is willing to offer him an escape route in January.
The 32-year-old has clocked in just over 150 minutes from four matches this season and it includes 28 minutes from two league appearances.
Sarabia hasn’t made an appearance for Wolves in over a month and his last outing in the Premier League was in August.
Vamos Mi Sevilla FC cover the La Liga side’s desire to secure the attacking midfielder’s services in the winter market. The Spain international is Sevilla sporting management’s ‘dream signing’.
The Wolves man was at the Andalusian club between 2016 and 2019. His profile, qualities and experience would make him an interesting option for the Spanish club. Their plan is to get rid of Suso and replace him with their former player.
Suso has struggled with injuries and his deal expires in 2025. Orta intends to release him in January, in order to make room in their wage bill for another player.
This is where the Wolves attacker fits in and his wages would be less Suso. Sarabia’s deal also expires next June. The outlet talks about him arriving on a free transfer in January and this would only be possible if the English club were to agree to rescind his contract.
