Eric Bailly spent seven years at Manchester United before joining Beşiktaş on a permanent deal in the last window.

The centre-back struggled with multiple injuries during his time at Old Trafford and this hasn’t stopped since he moved to Turkey. He has already missed six games due to two different injuries this season and has now suffered another setback.

Asist Analiz took to X, formerly Twitter, to report about the latest blow sustained by the ex-Manchester United man.

It’s claimed the 29-year-old is struggling with a muscle injury and there’s no mention as to how long he’ll be on the sidelines.

TRT Spor journalist Fırat Günayer also took to X to state it’s really ‘a shame’ that Bailly is forced to stop yet again due to a fresh concern over his fitness. He adds the Ivory Coast international has a ‘huge injury problem’, that has plagued him for the past several years.

Last season, the defender was on loan at Marseille, where he was on the sidelines for 77 days with two different injuries.

Bailly has made 113 appearances at Manchester United, out of which 38 were from the 2016/17 season. He was forced to miss close to a year [355 days] while with the Premier League side.
