The Dutch media reports Feyenoord’s strong efforts to get Bryan Gil signed from Tottenham Hotspur.
1908 reports that the Eredivisie side have made ‘several offers’ to land the winger, as they won’t let go of this pursuit.
Gil himself is said to be interested in leaving Tottenham on a permanent transfer, especially if the interested sides puts an ‘ambitious project’ on the table.
According to 1908, Feyenoord’s first bid was made at the start of April, and worth less than €10m. Now they’ve been putting more money down in more recent attempts.
Even though there’s no deal with Tottenham yet, it’s claimed that the talks are now in a ‘serious stage’, and there’s a chance the transfer will go through, but not anytime soon.
The club know how complicated the negotiations will be and work with a deadline for the start of the 2024/2025 season. Right now, they believe the signing is ‘certainly not impossible’.
Gil only has 221 minutes in 11 appearances for Tottenham this season. His contract with Tottenham runs until 2026, so this is definitely a good time to negotiate a sale.
