If there’s one thing everyone can probably agree on, it’s that Manchester United need a handful of players, including a centre-back and a right-winger.
The general consensus is also that both should be ready to start straight away rather than being young players that will take time to develop.
That would definitely have been the case had José Mourinho stayed on, but with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now at the helm, it seems youth is given a shot, meaning we could see the Red Devils go for some younger targets than first anticipated.
If Le10 Sport are to be believed, one of the players being looked at is Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba, with Manchester United said to have made their interest known.
Furthermore, the website claim there’s a ‘serious possibility’ the Premier League side will ‘concretely’ move ‘in the next few weeks’.
However, the 18-year-old won’t be cheap, as Saint-Etienne have slapped a rather expensive price tag of €30m on his back in a bid to scare off potential suitors.
That doesn’t seem to have worked, however.
