Andreas Pereira has made two starts in all competitions since joining Lazio on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United.
The Red Devils owned player has collected 55 minutes of action in the last six matches, which includes being left out on the bench against Fiorentina on Wednesday.
Simone Inzaghi had initially decided to bring the midfielder on in the last league clash, but in the final moment, decided to send Vedat Muriqi on ahead of the Belgium-born Brazil international.
Pereira was seen moving towards the dressing room even before the final whistle. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, his reaction was because of the limited playing time he has had with the Rome club.
It’s claimed the Manchester United man arrived in Italy with a hope of featuring regularly and showcasing his talent. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened so far.
He ‘wants to play’ and if there’s no improvement in his situation, it is ‘not excluded’ the 25-year-old could ask to change clubs in the winter market.
The website state there are ‘no shortage of teams’ observing Pereira’s situation and the list includes ‘suitors’ in Serie A, who would have asked about him.
At the moment, the former Valencia loanee’s focus is on Lazio and his ‘priority’ is to do well for the Biancocelesti.
