Tottenham Hotspur’s Radu Drăgușin is back on Napoli’s agenda, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The centre-back arrived at the north London club from Genoa in the winter market and prior to that, the Serie A side had shown interest in him.
Drăgușin hasn’t enjoyed regular minutes at Tottenham as he clocked in 334 minutes from eight league games.
On May 3rd, the 22-year-old’s agent Florin Manea talked about the possibility of his client leaving Spurs, if he continues to be overlooked by Ange Postecoglou. He also opened the door for the defender to join Napoli, if they appoint Antonio Conte as their next manager.
Fast forward to Thursday and Corriere talk about the Tottenham player as an option for Napoli. Both teams offered the same amount to Genoa, before he picked Spurs and this hasn’t worked out well for him so far.
It’s claimed the Naples club ‘remain interested’ in signing the Romania international in the summer window, under the ‘right economic conditions’. There’s no mention of what those conditions could be. Their priority target, however, is Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno.
The report states Napoli are waiting for Torino’s response, after making an offer of €35m plus €5m bonuses. If a deal can’t be carried out for Buongiorno, the former could focus on the Tottenham defender in the next window.
