In the past few days, reports from Italy have been saying it will be tough for Fulham to sign Igor from Fiorentina.
The Serie A side are said to be making big requests for the transfer, and the Whites don’t seem even close to matching them.
There should, however, be some hope from Fulham about this situation, because according to Viola News, this scenario still exists, and all because of the player’s wish.
The outlet today features a story about all the players who could leave Fiorentina this summer, and Igor is one of them.
It’s claimed that the defender has made it known ‘through his intermediary’ that he wants to leave the club, meaning he’s ‘ready to say goodbye’.
Then when speaking of potential destinations for the Brazilian, Viola News only mention Fulham, claiming that the ‘hypothesis remains alive’, even though there’s no agreement between the clubs yet.
Now we must wait and see how far the Whites go to make this signing possible. The latest claims from the Italian media said Marco Silva’s side were offering €8m for Igor, while at least more than double would be needed for a deal.
Some fresher claims, though, have suggested €10m could be acceptable.
