Paul Pogba last featured for Manchester United in their 2-2 Champions League draw against Atalanta on November 2nd.
A few days later, the midfielder picked up an injury while training with France and has been sidelined since then.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, saw changes off the pitch. They parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjær after United’s 4-1 defeat to Watford and appointed Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season.
Pogba is yet to feature under the German, who has had a “phone call” with the 28-year-old. The World Cup winner’s contract expires next June and his agent, Mino Raiola, has admitted there is a renewal offer on the table for him.
According to La Repubblica, the super-agent has ‘already talked about’ the United star with the Juventus leaders. Rangnick, meanwhile, is ‘trying to convince’ Pogba to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
In the event the Frenchman ends up renewing his contract with the English club, Juve will then turn their attention on Franck Kessié, who also has a contract with AC Milan expiring next June and is not close to signing a new deal with the Rossoneri.
