On June 27th, we carried a report from Cope, who explained that Real Madrid will only allow Dani Ceballos to leave the club on a loan move in the summer.

It was also explained Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are the two ‘best placed clubs’ to sign the Spain U21 international as he is not included Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the next season.

Sport now claim there is a ‘queue to sign him’ as the potential suitors interested in the 22-year-old have crowded the offices of the Santiago Bernabeu.

This includes the Gunners, who have asked Los Blancos about the player’s situation and also about the possibility of signing him.

Unai Emery’s side will face competition from Inter Milan, Real Betis, AC Milan and Sevilla.

The Catalan newspaper explains Zidane does not rate Ceballos and if Real Madrid decide to sell him, it will be for €50m with a buyback clause included as part of the deal.

In Sport’s report there is no mention of Tottenham, even though earlier reports coming out of Spain have mentioned Spurs’ interest in Ceballos.

Given Arsenal’s budget, getting Ceballos on loan would be great for Unai Emery.
