The Spanish media is paying some close attention to Ben Brereton Díaz’s loan spell at Sheffield United.

Following the winger’s arrival from Villarreal last month, he now has two goals in five appearances for the Blades.

As Estadio Deportivo comes up to say Brereton doing well in the opportunities Sheffield United give him, they claim this is a ‘message’ for Villarreal and their manager Marcelino Garcia Toral.

The outlet writes that the player is ‘taking advantage’ of his spell with the Blades, as he’s been ‘fighting to prove his worth’.

It’s made very clear that Sheffield United haven’t been doing great lately, as they now stand on the bottom of the Premier League, and even though that isn’t the ‘best scenario to shine’, it’s said Brereton has been doing fairly well.

His form with the Blades is expected to have a big impact on Villarreal’s plans for him. The Spanish club didn’t find a place for him in the team for this season, and he’s said to be trying to convince Marcelino he deserves a fresh chance as soon as he’s back.
