The Turkish press continues to point out that Gary Medel is leaving Besiktas at the end of the season.

In an update on the situation this week, outlet Milliyet says the midfielder is unhappy at not playing, and claims the reason for it is because he’s reacting to not receiving his payments.

Milliyet claims that the failed West Ham transfer is being pointed out by the ‘English media’, although we’ve covered a couple of stories coming from the Turkish press in the past week.

It’s said that Medel is not activating his option to extend his contract for a further year, and has already called his agents to tell the club he wants to go in the summer.

The outlet then claims that Medel’s family is keen on moving to London, and West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is attentive to his situation at Besiktas.

So it looks like the player will be an easy target for the Hammers very soon.
