Earlier today, we covered reports from Brazil which said West Ham United’s €8m offer for Vitão was rejected by Internacional.

UOL claimed that the club are demanding €12m for the sale, having also turned down an attempt from Real Betis for the player.

Now as Goal journalist Raisa Simplicio shares some news on this chase, she brings some positive news for the clubs who are interested.

It’s said that Internacional remain in talks with Betis and West Ham for the transfer, and their request is actually €10m.

The report claims that Vitão’s staff believe both interested clubs, who placed €8m bids, will bring their offers up soon.

It now remains a matter of waiting and seeing if West Ham will add €2m to their bid and find a deal with Internacional.

Vitão still belongs to Shakhtar Donetsk, but left them on a loan deal and already signed a pre-contract with the Porto Alegre side, which will be valid from July.

That’s exactly when the club plan to conclude the sale, so there’s a few weeks for that to be sorted.
