Earlier this week, we saw reports from the Danish media encouraging FC Midtjylland to sign Glen Kamara from Rangers FC, now managed by Michael Beale.
It was claimed that even though the midfielder could ‘easily end up in a smaller club in one of the top five leagues’ as he edges towards a January move, he could actually head back to Scandinavia and find a place there.
It turns out that Kamara’s departure from Rangers is becoming a strong rumour also in the French media, where a list of sides interested in the Ibrox man is mentioned today.
Journalist Ignazio Genuardi writes on Twitter that the midfielder is ‘on his way out’ of Rangers, while ‘many European clubs’ are monitoring his situation.
It’s recalled that Kamara had previously been watched by Nice and Marseille, and continues to draw interest from Ligue 1, as he’s now followed by Nantes.
Despite all these stories, it’s still not said how much are Rangers demanding to let the 27-year-old move in the January transfer window.
He has a contract with the Scottish side running until 2025, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €7.5m.
