Wolverhampton still haven’t made a bid for Luisão, according to claims from Portugal.
Despite having a verbal agreement between player and club, Record says the defender is still waiting for the Wolves to make a formal offer to his agent.
Luisão is expected to make €2m per season at Wolverhampton, after tax, as the Portuguese media said last week. But it looks like it’s starting to take too long for a deal which was said to be already done, so maybe one of the parties is starting to have second thoughts about it.
In other news, the Anderson Talisca move to the Wolves is officially off. The midfielder was presented as a Besiktas player on Monday.
Despite so many claims he’d join Wolverhampton, or even Liverpool for a €25m fee, he ended up signing for the Turkish club on a loan deal.
