Nottingham Forest’s chase for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Giovanni Reyna gets an interesting update from the German media today.
Sky Deustchland journalist Florian Plettenberg claims the player has ‘two verbal agreements’ to leave his club this month.
One of them is with Nottingham Forest, with the Tricky Trees’ management being ‘very optimistic’ that they’ll get his signing done in the coming days.
The other agreement Reyna has is with Marseille, with their serious interest earlier reported by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Now despite the two personal agreements, the midfielder still needs to wait for Borussia Dortmund to advance in talks with the two clubs.
It’s claimed that both Nottingham Forest and Marseille are negotiating his transfer, but the Bundesliga side will only accept a ‘top financial package’.
Dortmund’s idea is to make a permanent sale, or a ‘lucrative’ loan which could even include an obligation to buy. Now it’s up to the interested clubs to satisfy their demands.
Plettenberg makes it clear there’s ‘nothing advanced’, so the battle is ahead.
