Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat was on loan at Manchester United last season, where he made 30 appearances in all competitions.
At the weekend, Corriere dello Sport reported the midfielder dreams of returning to Old Trafford this summer, and that the Serie A side are ready to let him leave for €15m.
It was also said Amrabat believes his chances of joining Manchester United permanently have improved after Erik ten Hag’s contract was extended.
Monday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport backs up the 27-year-old’s wish to continue with the Red Devils.
The Premier League side have an option to make his stay permanent, which they haven’t exercised so far. It’s claimed Manchester United have until July 21st to decide whether or not to buy the Morocco international.
Therefore, the Italian club have decided against including him in pre-season training and he won’t be called up until July 21st. The newspaper states the Red Devils can secure his services for €15-20m in this window.
Manchester United can take advantage of Fiorentina’s desire to get rid of Amrabat to get a discount, as long as they are keen on bringing him back to England.
