Following a free exit from Nottingham Forest at the end of the last season, André Ayew continues trying to find a new club.

A report from Foot Mercato journalist Sebastien Denis today claims that the player is now likely to play in Turkey.

It’s said that Ayew arrived in Istanbul this Friday. He’s in talks with Fatih Karagümrük, but since there’s no deal yet, there’s another Turkish club working on his signing, as well as another unnamed European side.

The player’s contract with Nottingham Forest came to an end on the last day of June, and he seems to be struggling a little to find the right club for his next destination.

The winger arrived at the City Ground in the winter transfer window, moving on a free transfer from Qatari side Al-Sadd.

In his few months playing for the Nottingham Forest, he had 13 appearances, but couldn’t get any goals or assists, and ended up not having his contract renewed.

A move to Turkey would not be something new for Ayew, as he had already played the 2018/19 season for Fenerbahce, on loan from Swansea City at the time.
