It now looks like a matter of hours until Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhães takes a decision regarding his future.

According to the latest update from RCM Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, this is the final stretch in the race between Arsenal and Napoli for the player.

It’s said Lille accepted offers from both clubs, and although the Gunners are in pole position, the Serie A side keep insisting.

Mohamed Bouhafsi claims that Gabriel Magalhães should take his final decision tonight or during the night, so it shouldn’t take long for the end of this saga.

It’s claimed that Lille will make €30m with the sale, regardless of which club will be Gabriel Magalhães’ destination.

The last updates we covered from France said Arsenal were ‘optimistic’ about a deal, as they have a five-year contract ready to be signed by the 22-year-old.

As Napoli would still have to sell Kalidou Koulibaly before confirming the attempt for Gabriel, it seems the Gunners are further ahead with the signing.
