Fabian Mrozek is set to return to Liverpool, with IF Brommapojkarna confirming that his loan has come to an end.

Fotboll Direkt cover comments from the side today, in which they thank the youngster for his time at the club and wish him well.

“We thank Fabian for his time with us and wish him the best of luck in his career,” sporting director Philip Berglund is quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

Mrozek joined the Allsvenskan side on loan from Liverpool in the summer looking to get regular playing time to aid his development away from Anfield.

The 21-year-old only ended up making five appearances in BP, though, and a report at the beginning of November claimed that Liverpool had decided to bring him back.

That was confirmed later in the month by Berglund, who provided comments on the matter when asked about it. He’s now thanked the youngster for his short service and wished him the best at Liverpool in an official announcement.

What happens next with Mrozek remains to be seen. The reports last month indicated he was returning to Liverpool to try and progress with them, as opposed to going out on loan again.

That may be a dream more than reality, though, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see another exit secured before the end of January.
