Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise has his heart set on joining Bayern Munich amid interest from Manchester United and other clubs, according to Sky Deutschland.
Last Tuesday, we covered claims from Germany that the Bavarian club’s supervisory board have approved a deal.
A day later, Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg stated the Crystal Palace star was set to undergo medical tests with Bayern.
The Frenchman has still not carried out those tests, and the report claims the Bundesliga side would like to seal this deal ‘as soon as possible’ to avoid any last-minute setbacks.
Sky say several clubs, including Manchester United, have tried to ‘hijack’ Bayern’s deal for the 22-year-old. The transfer isn’t in danger as of now because the attacker is clear that he wants to join the German club and sign a five-year deal with them.
Vincent Kompany’s side have agreed to pay €60m including bonuses and they are sorting out minor details with Crystal Palace. This is expected to be clarified soon as it’s claimed the player’s medical with Bayern is scheduled this week.
