Spanish international Nolito has had a good start to his career at Manchester City after moving from Celta Vigo, and seems to be very content with how things are going so far.
The 29-year-old has been speaking to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo about his journey so far in the Premier League.
Nolito insists he spent three wonderful years at Celta Vigo, but his life has changed for better at Manchester City: “I have lived three magnificent years at Celta Vigo, the best of my career, and in Manchester I am very happy for myself about how things are going.
“It is a project that I wanted to tackle, which has started well and hopefully will finish well. Life is changing for the better and I can’t complain.”
Nolito, of course, was also asked about the opportunity to play under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, to which he replied: “Well, pretty good, I’m not complaining. It is a privilege for me to work with him and try to learn every day and seize the opportunities he gives me.”
Nolito so far has 4 goals and 2 assists to his name in all competitions, and will certainly be hoping to build on the good start in England. Before moving to Manchester City, Nolito had been repeatedly linked with a switch to Barcelona, but the Catalan club didn’t move quickly enough and saw the Spanish international move to England.
