With Barcelona losing to Real Madrid 4-0 at the Camp Nou last night, it’s no surprise there’s a new witch hunt going on at the Catalan side.
As outlet Fichajes writes about the match, they feature a story about former Leeds United winger Raphinha, who’s claimed to be producing ‘one disappointment after another’.
In this specific match, it’s said his performance was ‘one more proof’ of how poor he’s been, since he was one of the ‘lowest points’ in Barcelona’s performances.
It’s said that despite reciving many balls, Raphinha could never get past Eduardo Camavinga, not creating any danger to Real Madrid’s defence.
That only proves how poor he’s been since his arrival from Leeds, and that will certainly impact on how Barça will deal with him from now on.
Fichajes writes that Raphinha’s departure from the club is now ‘imminent’ as they’ll try to sell him.
Barcelona spent €58m to sign him from Leeds last summer, and trust that his good past in the Premier League will still make him a wanted man in the transfer market, despite this disappointing year in Spain.
