Celtic’s Luis Palma has lost prominence under Brendan Rodgers this season and has been limited to 183 minutes of action from seven matches.
The winger’s situation at Celtic has gone from bad to worse since the start of October, with him clocking in just 77 minutes.
In fact, the Honduras international has enjoyed more minutes with his national team than at Celtic this season.
Recent claims from Scotland have stated the 24-year-old is attracting interest from MLS. Diario Diez journalist Gustavo Roca, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to relay this and then provide his own information on this case.
He says the Celtic player ‘wouldn’t see with bad eyes’ the possibility of moving to MLS in January. Back in October, Palma’s father said he could leave the Scottish champions in the winter market.
Palma joined Celtic from Greek side Aris Thessaloniki in August 2023 and finished his debut season with 12 goals and 13 assists from 41 games.
After an ‘excellent’ debut season, the Honduran is no longer able to enjoy more minutes at Celtic this season. Roca claims it’s a ‘shame’ that the player has been ‘ostracised’ by Brendan Rodgers in a ‘short time’.
