Inter Milan and Everton are the two main clubs to have taken interest in Denzel Dumfries’s services.

The PSV Eindhoven player is currently training individually while he waits for his future to be sorted out.

That’s according to Eindhovens Dagblad, who take a look at the chances of the Serie A winners and the Toffees signing the right-back this summer.

After his participation in the Euros with the Netherlands, it was widely ‘expected’ the 25-year-old would soon move to a foreign league, but that hasn’t happened yet.

It’s said ‘there was interest from Everton’, but it’s ‘unclear’ if the defender wants a move to Goodison Park. In addition to this, Rafael Benítez’s side also have ‘problems attracting players’ because they need to sell first before buying.

The Nerazzurri have informed the Eredivisie side about their interest in the Dutchman and Dumfries is open to joining them. The case has been ‘quiet for some time’ because Inter are not willing to meet the €15-20m fee demanded by PSV.

Taking Dumfries’ profile and qualities into account, PSV believe the fullback is ‘worth a substantial amount’, which Inter are not willing to satisfy.

The Netherlands international wants his future sorted out quickly and if there’s no change in his situation, PSV will let Dumfries train again with the first team.
