Celtic’s hopes of making it to this season’s Champions League group stages were crushed when they were knocked out by CFR Cluj.
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Romania, Neil Lennon’s side suffered a 4-3 defeat at home earlier this month.
Billel Omrani was the star player for Cluj as his second half brace, followed by a stoppage time goal by George Tucudean, helped the visitors overcome the Bhoys at Celtic Park.
The forward has scored six goals in the Champions League qualifiers this season and his performances against FC Astana, Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Celtic have drawn attention from elsewhere.
According to Romanian newspaper Gazeta Sporturilor, Cluj could lose the 26-year-old after receiving three ‘important offers’ from Scotland and Israel.
Though Transfermarkt value the player around €1.8m, it is claimed the biggest offer his employer has received so far is €3.5m.
GSP’s report doesn’t specify details of the Scottish or Israeli clubs that are interested in Omrani, or make it clear whether Celtic are one.
