Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest in the last few days.

The player has already spoken about the possibility of moving away from Italy and he made it clear that he is open to doing that.

So far, the Italian press has only spoken of Nottingham Forest’s simple interest in the Italy international, but things might be evolving further.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report about the 24-year-old, who is also liked by Inter Milan and AC Milan.

The two Italian giants are yet to decide whether they will make a move or not, with Tammy Abraham’s Milan future uncertain and Inter having other strikers on their shortlist.

It’s claimed Nottingham Forest have already made an offer for the striker and the same applies to Atletico Madrid. That is an escalation from how things were earlier in the week, with Gazzetta essentially taking things a step forward.

Having said that, it seems to be just an attempt from those around Lucca to get a better deal from other clubs.

Not to say that Forest aren’t interested in the player but it looks like attempts are being made to rush other Italian sides into making a major approach soon.
