Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Fábio Silva is ‘happy’ at PSV Eindhoven, but they are yet to make a decision about a move for him in the summer.
That’s according to Eindhovens Dagblad, relayed by Voetbal Primeur, who say the Dutch side will make a choice later in the season.
Silva joined them on loan at the end of the January transfer window, bringing an end to a spell at Anderlecht to make the move to the Netherlands until the end of the season.
He’s made nine appearances for them in all competitions since then, scoring three and assisting one and generally making a positive impression.
However, a transfer will be ‘decided later’ by those in charge at the club, who are yet to commit on the 20-year-old as yet.
Silva is ‘said to be enjoying himself’ at the club and would seemingly like to continue but it is ‘unknown’ whether Wolves want to cooperate in terms of a longer stay.
They spent big in January bolstering their forward line with the likes of Matheus Cunha and Pablo Sarabia, while they also have Sasa Kalajdzic to return from injury and Raul Jimenez.
The latter has been linked with a departure in the summer but even then Wolves’ forward line is well stocked and they need to make a decision about what to do with the youngster, who has struggled at Molineux since arriving in 2020.
It seems they are yet to do that and PSV are waiting for that before deciding whether they want to keep Silva beyond the end of this campaign.
