On Wednesday, we covered claims from Spain which stated Aston Villa have made a low offer of €15m plus bonuses for Sevilla’s Loïc Badé.

Later that day, Estadio Deportivo reported the Villans are very serious about the defender but haven’t tabled a formal bid so far.

The Aston Villa officials, and the 24-year-old’s agent were in Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta’s office on Tuesday.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC state the Frenchman has given his approval to join Unai Emery’s side. He’s keen on moving to the Premier League but won’t put pressure on the Andalusian club to reach an agreement with Aston Villa.

It’s down to Aston Villa to agree a deal with Sevilla, who are requesting a fee between €25-30m in January. The report states Sevilla are ‘waiting’ for Unai Emery’s side to make an offer, most likely a formal one, for Badé.

Aston Villa have to first get rid of Diego Carlos before tabling a bid for Badé. The Brazilian has been offered to Turkish clubs, while he prefers a move back to Sevilla. They are not in favour of this operation because of Carlos’ €12m asking price.

The report states Sevilla would only consider signing Carlos if it’s on a temporary deal. On Wednesday, Estadio Deportivo insisted Sevilla will only ask for cash and aren’t willing to take any player as part of the deal for Badé.
