Tottenham Hotspur fullback Pedro Porro may have the chance to leave the club not so long after his arrival.
That’s reported by Fichajes, who say Barcelona are interested in signing the 23-year-old this summer.
It’s said that the Catalan side ‘clearly have the need’ to reinforce their right-back position, and in their long list of targets, there is the Tottenham player.
Fichajes acknowledge that Porro’s first months with Spurs have ‘not been as expected’, but that apparently didn’t harm Barcelona’s interest in signing him.
The Camp Nou club are worried with the poor performance their right-backs have been having in the last few years and want to solve that problem once for all.
However, despite reporting Barça’s interest in Porro, Fichajes don’t sayif the La Liga side have already made any contact to get the signing done, and they don’t say how much the club want to pay for the transfer.
Tottenham spent a total of €50m to sign Porro from Sporting, so even though he’s now valued by Transfermarkt at just €35m, it’s hard to imagine Spurs accepting to sell him for less so soon after his arrival.
