Sergio Reguilon has found himself thrown into the transfer rumour circus over the past week or so, with clubs from the Premier League and around Europe being linked with the Real Madrid player.

For the current extended season he’s been loaned by Madrid to Sevilla, and the latter are still to complete their campaign given they remain in the Europa League. They face Wolves on Tuesday in a one-leg quarterfinal, and will be looking to continue their impressive history in the competition.

Napoli are interested in Reguilon, but CalcioNapoli24 report the competition for the player is ‘ruthless and fierce’. It’s claimed Arsenal have made some kind of ‘poll’ to find out information about the potential signing, and the player ‘flirts’ with the Gunners and PSG.

Real Madrid are said to want €25m for the 23 year old left-back, and Napoli would like to get that figure down.

Reguilon is represented by SportInvest, Kia Joorabchian’s agency, so Arsenal links are perhaps inevitable. It remains to be seen whether interest from Mikel Arteta’s side is genuine or if they’re being used to put pressure on Napoli and other interested clubs.
