Portuguese winger Gil Dias is reportedly on the verge of cutting short his loan deal at Nottingham Forest to join Greek side Olympiacos.
Outlet O Jogo reports that the player has already landed in Greece and should soon be presented by his new club.
Also on a loan deal from Monaco, the winger is now set to work under a Portuguese manager, Pedro Martins, and other compatriots such as José Sá and Daniel Podence.
Dias had joined Nottingham Forest on a one-year deal at the start of the season, and even managed to make 24 appearances for the club.
However, with only one goal and one assist, the player slowly lost his place in the team, featuring in only two of the last seven Championship fixtures.
As it’s the Greek press who’s been reporting the negotiations, we’re still to see some coverage from the Portuguese media about the reason why things didn’t work out for him at Forest.
