Fulham and Newcastle United have both reportedly made approaches to sign Ibrahim Amadou from Sevilla.

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo has a story today saying the player would like to have more chances at the club, especially because of his good performance against Barcelona this week.

And despite the lack of opportunities to prove himself, a few clubs have been interested in him. It’s said that Fulham and Newcastle have tried to get him on loan, but both attempts have been blocked by Sevilla.

The Spanish side will give the player at least a few more months, as they also believe in his potential and consider he could be useful for the final part of the season.

Amadou wants to stay, but only if he has the chances he deserves. So although Estadio Deportivo claims that a transfer is ‘practically impossible’ now, it sounds like things would change in the summer in case he keeps getting the same treatment.
