There’s a few snippets from Il Messaggero this weekend which are of interest to Premier League clubs, with Brighton & Hove Albion, Watford and Crystal Palace all getting a mention in a round-up on AS Roma’s January business.
First up there’s Bruno Peres, and Benfica are making big efforts to sign the Brazilian right back, talks already being held. Turkish club Galatasaray are also keen but before Peres says yes to a move to either of those sides, he wants to know if there’s a realistic chance of a Premier League switch.
Watford and Brighton are named as the potential destinations in England but there’s no information on any talks taking place or offers going in for the 27 year old.
Łukasz Skorupski is said to have an offer from Crystal Palace, which is no surprise given he’s a goalkeeper and Palace have been linked with so many recently.
Crystal Palace are one of ‘several’ clubs to have made an offer, but there’s no other names thrown in or explanation about the nature of the offer.
Roma need to sell before they can buy in January, with targets including Matteo Darmian having to wait for money to come in.
