Everton and Youssef Chermiti have finally reached a deal, according to reports from Portugal.

Following an agreement between the Toffees and Sporting, the only pending issue had been the personal details with the player, and that has now been sorted out.

Newspaper A Bola writes that following a few days of talks, Chermiti is ready to sign a five-year deal with Everton.

The striker will ‘soon’ travel to Liverpool to have his medical and sign his contract with the Toffees.

Everton are reportedly initially spending €12.5m on the signing, and the add-ons could make it reach €15m. Sporting will keep 20% of a future transfer fee.

The personal agreement between Toffees and Chermiti took a while to be found, because since the start of the week, the Portuguese media had been claiming that the clubs had a deal and the player wasn’t even training.

That’s the reason why he didn’t travel to England for the friendly between the two clubs on Saturday.

A Bola highlights that the striker is now fulfilling a dream, with everything happening very fast, as he had been promoted to Sporting’s first team in January this year.
