PSV Eindhoven defender Shurandy Sambo is in England to finalise a move to Burnley, with a presentation planned for later today.
That’s according to journalist Johan Inan, who say the 22-year-old will be completing his move to Burnley at some point today.
The defender is set to become a free agent at the end of this month, with his current contract at PSV coming to an end and the player deciding to move on.
Burnley moved for him earlier this year, wrapping up a deal with the right-back to sign him on a free transfer on July 1st.
That deal is now in the final stages, according to Inan, who reports that Sambo is currently I England to sign his contract at Turf Moor and become a Burnley player.
He will join them on a free transfer from PSV and will be presented today at some point after signing a deal until 2028.
It seems his arrival has not been affected by the departure of Vincent Kompany, with the Clarets pushing it through despite his departure to Bayern Munich.
