Fabio Silva is edging towards a return to Wolverhampton Wanderers this month, but could be immediately loaned out once again.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who says the forward’s ‘most concrete’ option is PSV Eindhoven.
Silva has been on loan with RSC Anderlecht since the summer, moving to Belgium in an effort to get his career back on track after a miserable few years at Molineux.
He initially looked like he could be a hit in Belgium, but his recent form has left a lot to be desired despite totalling seven goals and one assist in 20 games in the Jupiler Pro League so far,
This have led to suggestions he could be brought back to Wolves this month, and Tavolieri says talks are ongoing between Wolves and Anderlecht for the loan move to be ended, and ‘it’s getting clearer’ that he will be returning to his parent club this month.
He is unlikely to remain there, though, and instead the ‘most concrete lead’ is that he will be immediately send back out on loan, this time to PSV Eindhoven.
He states that there is nothing definitive as yet but that is the trend and talks are ‘to be continued’ over Silva before the end of the transfer window.
