In the summer window, Rangers’ Nicolas Raskin was linked to a few clubs including West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but he’s still at Ibrox.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, relayed by Voetbal Nieuws, looks at claims of West Ham and Wolves interest and why the 24-year-old didn’t end up leaving Russell Martin’s side.

According to Tavolieri, both West Ham and Wolves showed interest in the Rangers player, but he didn’t receive bids from the Premier League duo.

As well as West Ham and Wolves, Besiktas and Fenerbahçe showed interest in Raksin, but Tavolieri claims the Istanbul clubs were rejected as he wasn’t keen on moving to Turkey.

Raskin has made two league starts this season and Russell Martin left him out of the squad for Rangers’ last two league games. He has a contract until 2027 but has to stay at Ibrox at least until the window reopens in January.

If the Belgian’s situation doesn’t improve, he could consider leaving Rangers in January. Should that happen, West Ham and Wolves can be provided with a fresh opportunity to try and sign Raskin.
