The future of Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is once again making waves in the Argentine media today.
First came ESPN, who broke the news that Boca Juniors officials had made first contacts in order to try and sign the 34-year-old.
His arrival would depend on the departure of Esteban Andrada, who has been said to be on his way out of the La Bombonera side.
Now, we are blessed with an update from TNT Sports, who have confirmed the talks are happening, and according to their information, Romero has actually been offered to Boca Juniors.
It’s claimed the goalkeeper has ‘decided to leave Manchester United’ and the next few weeks should be crucial. TNT Sports claims the MLS could also be a destination for him as well.
Sergio Romero’s contract with Manchester United expires in the summer, with him not even used once by the club this season.
It’s probably fair to say it wasn’t just his decision to leave the club, as everything indicates he will soon become a free agent.
