Newcastle United have become the latest club to be credited with an interest in Sevilla’s Dodi Lukebakio.
This was reported in the UK, where it was also stated Newcastle could make an offer in the summer window. Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, after relating this, provide their own take on this case.
The winger has scored 11 goals and registered two assists from 31 games this season and has already attracted interest.
Juventus and Napoli have been following the Belgium international for a while and the duo are joined by the Magpies.
Al-Nassr were keen on signing the 27-year-old in the winter market and even made a bid of €45m. He rejected an opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia.
The report now states the Andalusian club will not let him turn down any more proposals in the summer window. Sevilla have a need to improve their finances and Lukebakio’s sale can help him a lot.
Vamos Mi Sevilla FC point out that Newcastle wouldn’t mind making a high offer for the Belgian. If that happens, Sevilla are unlikely to reject it and Lukebakio ‘would be convinced’ to move to the Premier League.
