Barcelona youngster Abde Ezzalzouli has received an offer from Aston Villa, with Barcelona open to a sale this summer.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say the Catalan side will not let the winger go for anything less than €20m if they are to sell before the end of the window.
A report earlier today indicated that Aston Villa were one of the sides showing a willingness to make a bid for Abde this summer alongside Bayer Leverkusen.
That explained that ‘something is brewing’ around the player as Barcelona eye up a potential sale, which they need to open up the possibility of securing further incomings.
Mundo now follow that up and explain Abde has ‘already received’ an offer from Aston Villa, as well as Bayer Leverkusen, with a departure from the Nou Camp looking increasingly likely.
The youngster had intended to stay but knows he needs regular minutes and more continuity and that isn’t guaranteed under Xavi this season.
Unai Emery is very much keen on taking him to Villa Park as he builds his squad for the Premier League and potentially Conference League campaign.
He’ll need at least €20m to get his man, though, with that the minimum price Barcelona have set to sanction a departure.
They believe he is a player with a bright future, particularly after he impressed out on loan last season, and have no intention of letting him join Aston Villa or Leverkusen on the cheap as a result.
