Jadon Sancho’s relationship with Manchester United and Erik ten Hag has been a complex one. There are now an increasing amount of signs that things are getting back on the right track, and the manager has publicly stated the situation has been resolved.
Juventus have explored a move for the Englishman and there’s been multiple claims from Italy about Sancho being a major target for the club.
Calciomercato now report Juve are pushing for Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez, who is manager Thiago Motta’s ideal target.
They have, as a result, ‘abandoned’ the idea of signing Sancho this summer and want to focus on other targets. The report seems sure that Juve will not pursue a move for the player.
It also states that Sancho has ‘mended’ his rift with manager Ten Hag and that there will be no ‘surprises’ if he ends up staying at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has used Sancho during United’s pre-season friendlies in recent weeks and the former Borussia Dortmund man played as a false nine in a recent game against Liverpool.
