On July 31st, Foot Mercato reported Tosin Adarabioyo has drawn interest from Tottenham Hotspur. It was also stated AS Monaco had managed to reach an agreement with the Fulham player.
Three days ago, Nice-Matin reported the defender’s move to the Ligue 1 side has slowed down due to Spurs interest. It was also stated the intermediary chosen by Fulham wanted to take him to the north London club.
RMC Sport state the centre-back wants a move to the French principality club and they are also keen to sign him.
However, Fulham are reluctant to let the 25-year-old join Monaco and ‘want to send’ him to Tottenham. Therefore, the track leading to Monaco isn’t progressing.
Spurs interest in the player suits Fulham because Marco Silva wants to sign Eric Dier. He can operate both in midfield and in the backline, and his versatility pleases Silva.
Ange Postecoglou has left Dier out of the squad for the first two games and he has a deal until 2024.
It’s claimed the relationship between the two Premier League sides is good and this may help in a potential deal involving Adarabioyo and Dier.
RMC Sport state the Fulham player only wants to join Monaco and has already reached an agreement with them. They have offered him a better deal and guarantee more playing time.
Monaco have also made two offers of €7m and €10m, which were rejected by Silva’s side.
Adarabioyo and Fulham currently have different stances on his transfer, say RMC.
