Everton’s Oumar Niasse is very keen to join Trabzonspor according to Turkish newspaper Fotomaç, after failing to make an impact with the Premier League side.

Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal has reportedly told president Muharrem Usta he wants to sign a striker who’s familiar with the Turkish Super League, and Niasse has emerged as a leading candidate.

Fotomaç said Everton’s €8m demand has put Trabzonspor off, but the Turkish club are now trying to get Niasse for £1.2m on an 18-month loan. Trabzonspor have also agreed with Niasse on personal terms, which covers the £1.3 million Niasse is currently earning at Goodison Park.

Niasse’s representative Burak Sallak was recently in Istanbul to get a deal done between Trabzonspor and Everton. It would involve some compromise and Everton’s answer is currently unknown, but they might be tempted to let Niasse leave because the player clearly for less has no future under Ronald Koeman.

Niasse made the breakthrough with Akhisar BelediyeSpor, where he scored 12 goals. The forward signed for Everton for a fee of around €18m, but hasn’t justified that since his arrival in England.
