Marseille need to see the back of some players this summer, to balance their finances.

The wage bill is considered to be inflated, and they also need to bring some transfer fees in. Several players are being edged towards the door, including some who may not be so keen to go.

Kevin Strootman has been the subject of loan interest, but isn’t thought to be keen on a temporary switch, and there’s even been claims Luiz Gustavo could be sold to Lyon.

Morgan Sanson is a player thought to have some market value, despite his season petering out. La Provence reports there’s interest from English, ‘in particular’ West Ham.

The Hammers are ‘on the spot’ for the player, after Tottenham ‘seriously observed’ him last year.

There have been previous links with Tottenham, although things never felt advanced. Wolves have also been linked, but they’re not mentioned in this report, with it being made clear West Ham are currently the keenest from the Premier League
