The Italian club losing Marco Palestra to Chelsea and Anan Khalaili failing a medical means their budget is almost intact. They are now allocating a large part of it to sign the centre-back.
Spurs are open to lowering the price and are also flexible on other transfer formulas. This would suggest a loan with a purchase obligation is a possibility.
