Italian side Como 1907 are ready to make ‘one last attempt’ to sign Celtic star Nicolas Kuhn. If the deal does not go as planned, the Italian side will pursue AZ Alkmaar winger Jayden Addai instead.

The 25-year-old had a stellar season at the Scottish giants as he contributed statistically on 36 occasions, scoring 21 times and assisting 15 times across all competitions.

Kuhn managed to gather 51 appearances last season for Celtic as they cruised to win the Scottish Premiership alongside a Scottish League Cup. The German managed to score a brace in the UEFA Champions League against former DFB-Pokal winners RB Leipzig, who Kuhn also played with at youth level 15 times.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the ‘ambitious’ Italian side will no longer be patient in negotiations for the Celtic winger.

Talks are set to take place this morning, and if an agreement isn’t reached, the deal with be off for now.

Como manager and Barcelona legend Cesc Fabregas is bringing in reinforcements to attacking roles, as Como brace for their second season in Serie A coming of a 10th position last season.

They want to sign Nicolas Kuhn from Celtic but have now set a very short deadline before moving on to Jayden Addai.
